A Tale of Two Cabs:
La Puerta -vs- Chasing Lions
MORE: Kevin McNamara, the fella with the boyish dimples returns to the tasting bar this Saturday, the first day of February! He and I are pitting our two favorite value-Cabernet Sauvignons against each other to see who comes out on top. We will be depending on YOU to cast your vote and let the two Kevins settle this argument. La Puerta from Argentina rings in as you see at $9.99 while the Chasing Lions hails from California for $15.49.
Beside our wager over the two cabs Kev will be pouring the Joh. Jos. Prum Kabinett Riesling for $22.99 (think solid mouthfeel combines with good acid and savory flavors). AND we will continue to force Syrah on you! Luca Syrah from Argentina (Laura Catena makes this wine and named it after her daughter) at $24.99. It’s awesome and furthers my goal of Syrah-domination!
See you Saturday.
